ABOUT
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of German at Northwestern University, where my dissertation research concerns contemporary German migrant literature and the influence of multilingualism. I am also interested in literary and cultural plant studies, critical theory, and aesthetics.
I was a research fellow at Waseda University in spring 2019, and a fellow at Northwestern’s Paris Program in Critical Theory during from 2017 to 2018. Apart from being a literary scholar and teacher of German, I also translated books and wrote for newspapers (see here).
